Born in Vietnam and raised in Southern California, my upbringing was far from ideal, to say the least. As a child, I always seemed to find myself getting into trouble, constantly pushing boundaries and exploring the world around me. However, amidst the chaos, I discovered solace and joy in the realms of music and art. From an early age, I immersed myself in various artistic endeavors, finding a sense of calm and happiness in the process.
Whether it was the gentle melodies flowing from the keys of a piano or the raw power of strumming a guitar, music became a language that allowed me to express my emotions and connect with others on a deeper level. And as I delved into the world of visual arts, I discovered even more avenues for self-expression. From crocheting intricate patterns to breathing life into characters through animation, I found myself captivated by the limitless possibilities of creation.
It was through the lens of a camera that I truly found my calling.
